Lindsey and Joe celebrated their sunny April wedding at our barns recently. Our excited bride began her morning preparations in our bridal suite with her bridesmaids while our barns were decorated with Yorkshire themed trinkets and regal blue decor from To Have & To Hire . Meanwhile, the groom arrived with his guests on a vintage red bus which looked striking against the background of the rolling Sussex downs.
Everyone made their way through the courtyard and into the ceremony barn, guided by ‘t’wedding’ sign posts. Their vows were short and sweet and quickly followed by a flurry of confetti and celebratory drinks outside.
Guests made the most of the photo opportunities provided by the handmade peep board and a popcorn machine that the couple supplied. They then made their way through to the granary for the much anticipated speeches and wedding breakfast and found their seats adorned with Yorkshire tea favours with a handwritten poem.
During the tea and cupcake break (including cake from Kasserina and pick and mix sweets) the granary was then transformed into the dance venue, lit with sparkling fairy lights and love letters with music from band 3 wise monkeys.
We were delighted to be a part of Lindsey and Joe’s once in a lifetime celebrations and wish they a wonderful marriage.
