Lynsey and Paul’s wedding was a beautiful summer celebration held our barns last year. Their ceremony took place offsite and they then arrived at our barns in a stunning classic car closely followed by their guests in an equally quirky vintage bus.
Our couple and their guests were serenaded upon their arrival in our courtyard with the acoustic musical styling of Ryan Haynes. They also enjoyed drinks and canapes from circa events such as rare roast beef yorkshire puddings and mini bacon cheese burger.
Shortly after their celebratory reception, guests made their way through to the granary which had been adorned with drapes courtesy of To Have & To Hire and love letter from Hire Your Day. Circa served slow roasted sussex pig with sea salt crackling and sage pork stuffing. This was accompanied by parsley garlic butter potatoes, spiced red cabbage and a selection of fresh breads, pickles and braeburn apple sauce. The meal ended with speeches, tea, coffee and cake – a beautiful naked cake created by a friend of the couple.
During their meal, music boards and flip flop crates were laid out in the cart shed ready for the evening party with music from the barn The Hares and inventive photos at the Polaroid station.
We were delighted to receive such lovely feedback from Lynsey and Paul following their big day, ‘We just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for your help on our wedding day and also all your advice leading up to the day itself! We were so pleased with how our wedding day went (although it seemed to fly past!). Everyone commented on how beautiful the barn looked and even the weather held out for us – can’t wait to get our photos back! We really did have the best day of our lives’.
