A combination of soft bright tones is proving to be a popular choice at our barns. By mixing icy blues and white’s with violet and neutral tans, our bride’s have created beautiful colour pallets around which they have themed their decor.
The vibrant lavender and blue are nicely offset with neutral colours present in the fabric of our barns. Lilac homemade bunting has been hung from rustic beams while floral displays have been wrapped in natural textured twine.
For the bride opting for a more toned down colour theme, neutral blush shades such as sugared rose, cream and pale grey compliment each other perfectly.
Popular flower choices this season are peonies, garden roses, and dahlias all of which come in beautiful flushed neutral shades and look lovely combined with floral crowns of gypsophelia. Additions such as soft ceiling drapes and rustic jam jar centre pieces make for simple but effective decor perfect for a barn wedding.
For a modern take on pastels couples can combine faded peach, mint, baby pink and silver. This mix of warm and cool tones are great for the spring season and compliment a variety of skin colours for bridesmaid dresses as well helping to brighten up any wet weather days!
Floral displays can incorporate fruits and rustic greenery for an unusual twist on the traditional bouquet and naked cakes covered in fresh berries and flowers are a lovely way to tie the colour theme together.
