Shannon and Megan’s August wedding was bursting Shannon and Megan’s August wedding was bursting with colour, chrochet and laughter! This was a DIY wedding to remember and they spent months planning every detail. Shannon devoted an incredible twelve months to hand-making beautiful chrochet floral favours for every guest, a true labour of love that made everyone feel extra special. The day began in our gorgeous studio and courtyard suite relaxing and preparing décor for the ceremony. Thanks to two separate getting-ready rooms, the couple could prepare in private before sharing an emotional first look together in our beautiful secret garden. For the ceremony, they chose our beautiful rustic Cartshed, adding colourful ribbons to the Chiavari chairs for a joyful pop of colour, along with a beautiful moonarch to complete their pastel look. Afterwards, the sweetest doggy duo arrived, Bambi and Bruno and they stole everyone’s hearts, including ours! We adored how the love for their pups was woven into the table décor, adding warmth and personality to the celebration. The evening ended on a perfect note with a sparkling send-off, as their closest friends and family lit up the night sky in celebration of a day brimming with joy. This is exactly when the magic of our barns shines: when couples embrace the rustic blank canvas and make it completely their own, and Shannon and Megan did just that.
