And because the days are shorter, here are a few super simple tips to make sure you squeeze every drop out of that gorgeous golden hour. • Go a little earlier than you think because winter sunsets don’t hang around. Aim to head out about an hour before the listed time. • Bring something cosy, such as a wrap or jacket. Keeping yourself warm between shots will make you feel better and look more relaxed. • Stay close to the venue. The courtyard and surrounding fields have all the backdrop you need, without a long walk in the cold. • Don’t fear the clouds! Winter skies often produce the best colours when it’s a bit moody. Trust the sky to do its thing. • Grab a drink for the photos because, honestly, a glass in hand always adds to the moment. • Lean into the winter vibe because the light is softer, the colours are richer, and the whole thing feels extra romantic. Winter sunsets here are pure magic. They may be short and sweet, but they are completely worth chasing.
